Steve Jobs, founder and CEO of Apple became iconic for many reasons, and although I am not a big fan of rules, these rules resonate with me…..

Doing my daily research online I stumbled upon an old article written by Steve Jobs many years ago that he named “12 Rules of Success”, I thought it may be nice to go over it and see whether the rules have changed?

Rule #1: Do what you LOVE to do, you will never work a day in your life.
#1 still true.
Rule #2: Be different, only different stand out, needless to say different in a good way.
#2 still true.
Rule #3: Always do your best….. makes a huge difference.
Rule #3 still stands.
Rule #4: Do SWOT analysis – know your strengths and weaknesses
Rule #4 still stands.
Rule #5: Be entrepreneurial keep your eyes and ears open for changes taking place be alert.
Rule #5 still stands.
Rule #6: Start small but think big, don’t be afraid to grow, but wise…..

Rule #7: Strive to become market leader, don’t be afraid to be first..
Rule #7 still stands.
Rule #8: Focus on outcome, quality of product, service, design

Rule #9: Keep in touch with clients, ask for feedbacks LISTEN…..

Rule #10: Be innovative – or don’t be
