According to Merriam Webster, a volunteer is “a person who expresses a willingness to undertake a service.”
I have been #volunteering with an amazing non-profit organization called – #Reena (reena.org) – a non-profit organization which promotes dignity, individuality, independence, personal growth and community inclusion for people with developmental disabilities within a framework of Jewish culture and values. Volunteering with Reena offers me the chance to give something back to the community, make a slight difference to the people they serve, and get a personal satisfaction as a reward.
Reena is currently seeking #volunteers on various committees of the #Board.
