Your Main Responsibilities Are:

  • Directs all aspects of the daily #accounting function
  • Builds and maintains #costaccounting models/standards
  • Hands on operational support
  • Plays a key role in identifying and implementing process improvement and internal controls
  • Prepares and reviews monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports
  • Leads year-end financial statement audit, mid-year audit, quarterly reviews and tax return preparation with external auditors
  • Working closely with project managers to create and maintain project budgets
  • Understands and supervises all aspects of cash flow
  • Supports ongoing upgrades and enhancements of the financial systems (general ledger and support systems) and related reporting
  • managing a team of three

You Bring With You:

  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant #controller experience
  • Hands-on, independent work style
  • Previous experience with QuickBooks
  • Experience working within construction, real estate an asset
